We at Bes Care Limited are looking for dedicated Care workers to become part of our growing Care Team in Nottingham. We are looking to recruit reliable staff to provide person-centred care for our clients, to enable them to remain living in the comfort of their own homes.
Although we don’t require much healthcare experience, there are a few characteristics you will need to be successful in this role:
Resilience – This is a role working with vulnerable patients who can have varying degrees of mental health difficulties, so there will be days where your resilience is challenged,
Excellent Communication Skills – Communicating with service users and staff is vital to understand the needs of the service users and relay any information to your supervisor or line manager.
Organisational Skills – You’ll need to be comfortable documenting information and be organised in your approach.
Care and Compassion – Our patients require the best care and compassion we can offer, if you are a naturally caring person, this is a role for you.
Attentive – No service user is the same and so being attentive to understand them and identify areas we can support is key.

You will be the face of Bes Care Limited, so you will need to be well presented and completely trustworthy. Attitude and the desire to help others is very important to be successful in the role. Reliability, flexibility and good time keeping is essential as we promote continuity of service and stability for our clients
A typical day in the life of a care worker will involve supporting a number of different individuals with differing and varied needs including but not limited to
· Chatting with a client and learning about their needs and interests.
· Preparing meals for clients.
· Helping with personal care i.e. washing, using the toilet and dressing.
· Supporting clients in taking medication.
· Helping clients to make shopping lists and sometimes shopping for them.
· Being attentive to changes in needs and condition.
· Documenting everything that has happened during the call.
