CARE ASSISTANT
1. work on the frontline of care delivery
2. helping individuals to overcome the everyday difficulties they face including the disabled, elderly, long-term ill and individuals with learning difficulties.
3. helping clients with their immediate needs such as washing, dressing and maintaining their hygiene, as well as helping them with basic day-to-day or administrative tasks like paying bills.
4. Getting to know clients personally and providing them with emotional support and company, which contributes positively to their wellbeing.
5. Helping clients to take part in leisure activities, such as going on day trips.
SUPPORT WORKER
1. Providing physical support which may include helping with household tasks and personal care.
2. Providing emotional support for an individual and their families.
3. Supporting and helping with health care needs, including routine checks or administrating medication.
4. Encouraging and supporting the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
5. Teaching life skills, such as shopping, using public transport and paying for bills.
6. Working with other healthcare professionals to ensure that all care needs meet the highest possible standards.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Temporary contract, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 40 per week
Salary: £10.00-£12.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Hampshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
