We are looking for a knowledgeable and engaging individual to teach Health and Social Care in FE programmes under the guidance of the course leader and the team.

Our staff are skilled, high performing and committed to our learners and we now wish to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Taking Teaching Further Trainee in Health and Social Care who shares this commitment. To engage in a teacher training programme to enable the successful applicant to share their industry skills and expertise with our learners, while developing their own skills and knowledge.
The Taking Teaching Further programme is a national initiative to attract experienced industry professionals with expert technical knowledge and skills to work in Further Education (FE). The successful candidate will be employed by Stockton Riverside College group and will be fully supported to develop the skills required to successfully achieve a Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training within two years of the commencement of their post.
An exciting opportunity to work in an innovative department in the Health and Social Care area of the college, and to welcome an industry professional into the world of teaching. Time for the key individual to give back to the community, inspire the younger generation and help develop the future professionals of the sector, in addition to gaining a teaching qualification.
The ideal candidate will have significant industry experience within the Health and Social Care sector with at least 18 months professional practice, and have a high level of drive and enthusiasm which is essential to effectively support learners in their journey towards learning and developing their skills.
