Job summary
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health, Safety professional to join the department of Infrastructure Housing and Environment.
With no day ever being the same the Health, Safety role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a diverse department Key duties Support the roll out of Health and Safety strategy, ensuring that best practice standards are developed and maintained and are compliant with statutory and departmental policy. Provide support to the health and safety manager in developing accurate, timely, legally correct and sensible business led advice to line managers in all aspects of the Health and Safety Work with managers and staff to support the development and maintenance of the training plans to ensure the training needs of all personnel are identified to ensure compliance with the HSE Management System.
Understand, monitor and maintain the departments performance against the requirements of the IHE health and safety management system.
Ideally candidates should have a minimum of 2 years health and safety experience and should be qualified to, or working towards, NEBOSH Diploma Standard.
