Role: Health and Safety Advisor Location: Warrington, WA2 8JH Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Salary: OTE £24,000 (£22,000 per year + a bonus) CarShop (part of the Sytner group) is the UK’s largest omnichannel car supermarket. We are the spreaders of good carma in the automotive world and provide a world class customer experience. What does the job involve? You will support site managers and Sytner Health and Safety Advisors in running and maintaining a safe working environment. You will need to conduct internal site inspections, ensuring issues are discussed and rectified with management team. Accurately and regularly updating Health and Safety systems and records. Conduct monthly audit and inspection reviews. Attend Sytner monthly audits, ensuring outstanding actions are met. Arranging service repairs for defects found in a timely manner so as to not breach compliance or where possible audit exposure. Planning and organising repairs Scheduling and planning of health surveillance for all staff What skills or experience do you need to join the team? You will need a full valid UK driving licence. Ideally, you will have NEBOSH or IOSH qualification. This isn’t essential as full training will be provided. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent attention to detail. You will need excellent time management skills. You will have experience working within health and safety. You will have experience working within a fast paced environment, driven by a health and safety culture. What we can offer you.
