Post Ref: 25534. Full Time, 37 hours per week. Fixed term (1 year). £38,770.57 - £39,934.90 per annum (pro rata).

We have an exciting, fixed term opportunity within the Marketing and Engagement Department at Education Partnership North East.
As Head of Recruitment, Events & Engagement you will lead the development, implementation and delivery of recruitment and engagement strategy for Education Partnership North East. You will deliver innovative annual plans and develop short-term tactical plans to meet the needs of each college audience.
You will play a pivotal role in delivering to key income targets and will have responsibility for driving awareness of our colleges in Schools and Communities, working closely with CRM, Reporting and Insight and Marketing, Content and Communications to maximise interest and drive income generation. The role will lead the recruitment and events team to increase engagements (in person and via virtual events) with school leavers, adults, and higher education audiences, increase enquiry leads, manage large scale event programmes (both recruitment and corporate) and oversee the management of partnership activities (NECOP). You will be empowered to develop your own plans in collaboration with curriculum teams to drive application targets and KPIs.
You will work closely with the Director of Marketing and Engagement to deliver synergy and integration across the whole directorate and strive to be outstanding in everything that you do. You will take responsibility for recruitment, events and engagement budgets and ensure that activity is delivered effectively. Working as part of the leadership team in the directorate, you will ensure that strong measures are implemented and delivered to evidence return on investment.
You’ll have experience of planning and leading recruitment and events strategy. You will be able to demonstrate leadership and management, with excellent communication and influencing skills. You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of our target audiences and have the ability to change behaviour through face-to-face interventions, events and engagement strategies.
You will be comfortable advising and supporting internal and external stakeholders. Good planning and project management skills are essential, coupled with the ability to problem solve effectively.
