LOCATION: Site Based Mon-Fri - Newport, South Wales
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Involves working within the UK Defence industry, requiring the applicants to be UK Nationals Only (No Dual Nationals) and able to be security cleared to a UK Eyes Only SC level
TRAVEL REQUIRED: Occasional travel within UK and international

As the Head of Product Management and Technology Strategy, you will lead the capability in incorporating the spheres of Research & Development, Pre-Sales Engineering, PLM/CM and the Office of Principal Architects and Technical Experts. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
- Technical Leadership and implementation of Product Management Best Practices across our product portfolio
- Development and Management of enduring Technology Strategies across our product portfolio
- Direct Line Management of Principal Architects and Technical Experts
- Indirect Line Management of our Configuration Management Capability (Manager of Manager)
- Mentorship of participants in our Early Career Programme (20x Graduates and Apprentices)
ABOUT YOU
Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline with demonstrated experience of:
- First Line Management of Senior Engineers and Experts
- Second Line Management (of small functional teams)
- Technical Leadership across complex matrix organisations
- System Engineering across a complex portfolio of projects and products
- Product Lifecycle Management tools and practices
- Business and Quality Management Systems
- Safety and Security Regulatory Compliance of Products and Engineering Environments
