ABOUT THE ROLE
HEAD OF TECHNICAL SERVICES AND ASSETS – hybrid role with office-based and homeworking. Travel to our village locations in the UK and Ireland will also be required, along with some overnight stays.
£90,000 per annum, plus 22% management bonus scheme and company car
This is an exciting new role within our Development and Construction department, based at Head Office.
We are looking for an experienced senior Facilities Manager to head up our hard services FM team and to manage a considerable portfolio of assets.
This role will be responsible for mechanical and electrical assets across our 6 villages, including gas, electricity and water networks. The role will head up the strategy, direction and effectiveness of village based Technical Services teams and contracted specialists delivering planned and reactive maintenance. Reporting into this role within the Head Office Development team are a Group Technical Services Manager, two M&E Project Managers and an Asset Manager overseeing the pool and spa facilities. The post holder will be required to oversee the delivery of a capital programme of asset replacement and enhancement with a value of approximately £8 million per annum. The role will also be involved in supporting the physical and technical aspects of delivering our commitment to Net Zero by 2050.
This role requires a competent, experienced and strategic individual who is able to recognise the needs of a 365 day a year operation that demands a continual provision of facilities for our guests. The ability to engage with senior stakeholders within our organisation is required, along with the need to be a team player willing to collaborate, engage and support.
HOURS OF WORK
You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period (37.5 hours per week). Normal working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, however dynamic working is available whereby the earliest start time is 7am and the latest end time is 7pm.
Please note, this role will be hybrid with a mixture of office-based and homeworking. Travel to our village locations in the UK and Ireland will also be required, along with overnight stays.
