About the role:
The role includes managing the safeguarding and welfare team, providing regular supervision, annual appraisal and structured support to team members. You will ensure that staff and learners across the college understand the ambit of welfare provision and access it appropriately.
You will also provide transformational leadership and management to staff in the safeguarding and welfare team and work with the Executive Designated Safeguarding Lead and other senior managers to ensure that safeguarding and the Prevent duty are embedded effectively across all aspects of college life
You will be a confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain excelling working relationships with colleagues, students and stakeholders both internally and externally.
