Job description
The role Head of Quality is to be responsible for the leadership of the quality team, driving quality and compliance through effective communication and leadership. This is to ensure accurate, efficient and timely delivery in line with PHX, including our awarding and/or regulatory body requirements and to provide monitoring, training and support. The role that we have available will require travel across our Centers that cover the Cumbria and Lancashire.
Key Responsibilities
·· Responsible for managing, improving and reviewing quality processes, to ensure excellent quality is maintained across the business.
· Lead and engage staff and teams, including providing development opportunities, support and encouragement
· Manage all quality inspections from external agencies
· Collaborate with team to put in place required quality standards and processes for the company.
· Provide robust staff training and monitoring process
· Ensure an acceptable programme of standardisation meetings.
· Responsible for creating an effective system and ensuring that all staff adhere to internal and external quality assurance standards.
· Ensure all quality standards and processes are met across the business for all contracts.
· Responsible for completing and sharing Self-Assessment Reports.
· Implement any changes to quality standards and procedures across the business.
· Produce regular reports on quality within the business and present to management / stakeholders.
·Work closely with other department Heads
Person Specification
· Proven experience of performing a similar Quality role and dealing with OFSTED
· Proven experience of improving quality standards with the ESFA and DWP
· Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
GCSE English Language or equivalent (Grade A*-C)

Size and Scope
· The successful candidate may be required to work from any of our other PHX Training Centres across Cumbria and Lancs
· This role will involve team working to promote best practise and leadership of a focus driven business
This role will require a standard clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
