The RSPCA is thrilled to be recruiting for the new role of Head of Planning, Performance and Risk on a full time, permanent basis.
As Head of Planning, Performance and Risk you will develop the business planning process to ensure that plans and resources are aligned to our ambitious strategy; Together for Animal Welfare.
Working within the Strategy and Transformation Directorate and reporting to the Assistant Director of Performance and Planning, our Head of Planning, Performance and Risk will be our subject matter expert and will develop and embed the RSPCA's business planning performance metrics, monitoring and reporting.
Here's some of the key work that you will be doing...
You will ensure that we have clear and effective performance metrics that drive decision making and enable us to monitor, respond and report on our performance and impact.
A key responsibility will be to oversee the production, maintenance and oversight of the Risk and Compliance framework for the RSPCA.
This role will also coordinate the production of the published Business Plan and the Trustees Annual Report and Accounts, bringing together the key publications on RSPCA performance.
You will manage the Business Intelligence team and to ensure that organisational data and insight, including our corporate dashboards and the strategic impact framework, is fully aligned with business planning and performance.
You will manage the Risk and Compliance Manager and will take responsibility for ensuring that all risk and compliance work is aligned to business objectives.
What we are looking for in you...
To be successful within this role, you must have proven experience of business planning, performance and evaluation of outcomes and impact.
It is essential that you have a strong knowledge of risk management and internal governance, ideally from within the charity sector, along with the proven ability to develop new ways of working in line with organisational requirements and best practice.
You'll need strong leadership, and relationship building skills, along with the motivation to improve collaboration and to drive and promote positive change within the RSPCA.
You must have strong negotiation and influencing skills and must be aligned to ourvision and values.
