We are currently recruiting for a Head of People Systems to drive and lead the transformation and change programme across all People systems, ensuring the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of a fit for purpose and colleague centric People system landscape. This is an exciting opportunity to pioneer change at BA, as a key enabler to our People Team and colleagues across the airline via our People Systems.
We are seeking a courageous and highly collaborative leader with experience working at senior levels within a complex matrix organisation whilst delivering systems transformation. In this role you will be accountable for a team of circa 20, budget responsibility of c.£5m with the potential to manage project budgets of up to £30m. This role will be accountable for the delivery of high-profile change programmes with a broad reach across the business with the potential to improve colleague experience in all areas.
This is an exciting opportunity, the successful candidate will work closely with our Director of People Services and wider People Leadership team in order to develop and deliver BA's People systems strategy, including transformation and partner collaboration, developing long-term investment plans, handling system compliance and support, providing subject matter expertise, and overseeing upgrades and additions, all whilst leading and engaging a team to deliver.
A track record of developing, implementing and maintaining systems change successfully is crucial for this role which in turn will ensure you are seen as the internal expert on People Systems at BA. The successful postholder will be a strategic thinker with the ability to influence when negotiating with internal and external collaborators.
Duties will include –
- Leading the People Systems strategy for BA whilst overseeing People System Transformation in collaboration with IAG and BA stakeholders.
- Ensuring efficiency, compliance, and support of all BA People systems.
- Leading a team of experts with a focus on employee experience, engagement and customer satisfaction.
- Providing subject matter expertise in People systems, overseeing system upgrades and changes with IAG Tech and third-party suppliers.
- Ensuring compliance with data protection laws.
