We are looking for an enthusiastic Head of Operations to join us and lead our Operations, Fulfilment and Logistics teams as we continue to grow globally. Working as part of the leadership team, this role will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for setting the company's operational strategy and leading and developing the teams to deliver against our ambitious goals for the future.
As the Head of Operations Responsibilities will include:
- Working with the Senior Leadership team to set the company strategy and goals
- Developing and driving the company’s operational strategy, goals and KPIs as part of the overall company strategy
- Managing and motivating all operational teams to improve efficiencies and achieve department Goals
- Leading and developing department managers and team members to grow in their roles and responsibilities
- Develop and recruit effective teams who align with the company's values
- Develop and manage global fulfilment across multiple locations to meet the needs of the company and customers
- Ensuring fulfilment is delivered to a high standard in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Managing the fulfilment and logistics seasonal fluctuations effectively
- Optimising our inbound and outbound logistics for all territories
- The financial performance, budgets and operational efficiencies of all operations teams and general company's operations
- Utilising new technologies and systems to improve effectiveness and efficiencies across the business
- Working with the teams across the business to improve processes and drive efficiencies
- Ensuring all legal and Health & Safety requirements relating to the company’s operations are in order and complied with
- Overseeing the facilities and security management of all buildings
The successful candidate will ideally:
- Have experience managing business operations and fulfilment in a similar retail environment
- Have experience successfully leading, managing and developing teams, including managers
- A key understanding of e-commerce systems and operations
- Be able to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- A proven track record of delivering operational improvements across a business
- Able to problem solve and make effective and efficient decisions
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- A passion for retail and sustainability
- A strategic mindset and the ability to think outside of the box
- The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong and developed leadership and coaching skills

Details
Location: minimum 2-3 days a week based in Edinburgh between our Newbridge warehouse and Leith studio.
Hours: Mon-Fri, flexible hours between 8am-6pm
Salary: negotiable dependent on experience
