Key Responsibilities:
- Spend time with your guests to ensure they are at the heart of everything you do.
- Lead, coach, develop & inspire your 200+ team members to deliver an incredible guest experience.
- Support your leadership team to enhance their departments, Accommodation, Food & Beverage, Leisure, fitness, swimming, activities Estates & fisheries, retail, & EHO offering to ensure the right products are delivered at the right time to maximise participation, aid retention, and improve profitability.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing team to develop and deliver their strategy to drive new member sales and events.
- Full P&L financial accountability; Ensuring that key KPIs, are managed effectively by all departments, sales, labour, GPs, overhead expenditure, helping set & deliver within budgets and deliver business plan.
- Ensure the property and grounds are well maintained, clean and the high level of safety standards are adhered to at all times.
Person Specification:
- Gravitas a highly engaging, professional, ambitious & obsessed with service and operational standards.
- Front of house approach to leadership with the ability to step up to provide strategic direction.
- Experience in building and developing high performing teams fostering a culture of excellence.
- At least 5-years- U.K. based experience as a Hotel Manager, Resort Director, General Manager or Hospitality Area Manger incorporating extensive accommodation, leisure (fitness, spa) facilities and food and beverage services.
- Possess a high degree of emotional intelligence
- An advocate of employee Wellness and living an active healthy lifestyle.
The ability to commute daily to the Devon area or willing to relocate (of which for the right person we would support with a contribution towards a relocation)
