An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead our Milton Keynes Claims handling team and we’re looking for a Head of Operations to join the team. Claims is at the heart of the Allianz strategy and this role will ensure our claims handlers are supported to deliver a superior service to our customers whilst delivering our commercial strategy.

This role will predominately be based in our Milton Keynes office.

Role Overview:
- Collaborate across the business to formulate operational strategy and lead the operational delivery optimising customer satisfaction, profitability and productivity
- Delivery of market leading customer service through a large operation, balancing business goals whilst maintaining high levels of engagement
- Ensure delivery and engagement with the Claims and Allianz strategy across all teams
- Be part of the Claims Customer Delivery leadership team and will lead and inspire the wider team acting as a role model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Builds, develops, implements and maintains delivery of the Claims and Allianz strategic roadmap, focusing on customer, employee engagement, technology and IT strategy
- Ensures the voice of the customer is at the forefront of everything we do
- Leads and coaches managers and employees to align with the customer service strategy, increasing employee satisfaction and maximising staff retention
- Influences and collaborates with senior stakeholders in relevant trading and claims areas to ensure commercial targets are achieved
- Engages with the trading areas and the market management team to produce a clear customer proposition with a clear responsibility to bring the proposition to life
- Advocates and drives continuous improvement to quality and compliance.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven leadership capabilities
- Highly developed in commercial and financial skills; proven ability to forecast budgets accurately and manage costs effectively
- Strong decision-making and influencing skills
- Forward thinking with a customer focused mind-set
- Ability to empower, enable, motivate and develop people to create a high performing team
- Technical knowledge of regulation, associated legislations and other relevant standards with the ability to continue to research and develop.
