Head of North America Marketing Job Description Overview:

We are looking for a Head of Marketing who’ll lead all our marketing activities from social media and digital campaigns to advertising and creative projects including retail instore displays and trade show activities.

The Head of Marketing is responsible for leading and managing the overall marketing strategy and activities.. This role involves overseeing the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, brand management, market research, and the coordination of marketing efforts across various channels. The Head of Marketing plays a critical role in driving business growth and increasing brand awareness and market share.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies: Create and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives. This includes defining target audiences, identifying key messaging, determining the optimal marketing channels, and setting measurable goals.
  • Brand management: Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all marketing materials and channels. Maintain brand guidelines and monitor the brand's reputation in the market.
  • Market research and analysis: Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities. Utilize market insights to develop effective marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Campaign planning and execution: Plan, develop, and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, such as digital advertising, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and events. Monitor campaign performance and optimize strategies based on data and analytics.
  • Team leadership: Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation. Foster a collaborative and high-performing marketing team.
  • Budget management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across different marketing initiatives. Monitor expenses and track the effectiveness of marketing investments.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams: Work closely with other departments, such as sales, product management, and strategy teams, to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives. Collaborate on product launches, promotions, and other initiatives.
  • Digital marketing and online presence: Oversee digital marketing efforts, including website management, search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), social media marketing, and online advertising.
  • Performance measurement and reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives. Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate marketing results and recommendations to senior management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends: Continuously monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing. Apply new strategies and tools to enhance marketing effectiveness and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in a senior marketing role, preferably as a Head of Marketing or Marketing Director.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles, strategies, and best practices relating to IT Hardware & Consumer Electronics
  • Experience in developing and implementing integrated marketing campaigns across various channels.
  • Proficient in digital marketing techniques and platforms.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving business growth and achieving marketing objectives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
