Through the Leicestershire College Group, we are seeking a Head of Marketing, PR and Communications to be part of our Senior Management Group and report to our Director of Strategic Partnerships and External Relationships.
The Head of Marketing, PR and Communications will develop and deliver creative and multi-platform marketing strategies to help to achieve the Loughborough College objectives. You will lead the Marketing, Student Recruitment, Events, Design and Web Teams to develop and enhance the corporate brand of Loughborough College to maintain our position in the market as an outstanding further education, higher education and skills provider.
The successful candidate will have experience in marketing, PR and communications alongside being able to develop and sustain positive and proactive relationships with the media and briefing spokespeople, providing guidance on media handling and contributing to media training activities. You should have a strong track record in managing communications, a relevant degree and a Chartered Institute of Marketing qualification (or working towards) as well as advanced English skills, both written and spoken.
As front-line support for the CEO and Executive, you will be required to work flexibly and occasionally, unsociable hours, to support any response to identified events or issues. However, as a supportive organisation we ensure flexibility works both ways. The ideal candidate is dynamic, thrives under pressure and stays calm when faced with a challenge.
