What is the key purpose of this role?
This is a fast-paced role in a high-growth area of the business – online education. It is a broad marketing role, responsible for lead generation activity across all channels, brand building, CRM, campaign planning, and managing content marketing strategy. Working with the Inspired Online Marketing Director, you will drive and implement the integrated marketing plan for our online education brands – this includes the King’s InterHigh B2C marketing strategy as well as other brands and products. You will manage the Content Marketing Specialist and Marketing Coordinator.
For this role, we are looking for a passionate and dynamic person with strong motivation and project management skills. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Marketing, with a strong understanding of digital marketing. We are looking for someone who is keen to continue to develop their career and passion for marketing, is organized, action orientated, and can take responsibility for strategies and leading projects with cross-function teams.
Working with senior leadership, the education team, sales team, technology team, and both the Inspired Online and central marketing teams, you will interact and work with all areas of the Inspired group. Therefore, we are looking for an excellent communicator, who is happy to multi-task and work across the whole business to advise on and deliver across the entire marketing mix.
Role and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Work with the Director of Marketing to develop the annual Inspired Online marketing plans, in line with a proposed budget, with a primary focus on driving new student enrolment.
- Develop and execute clear messaging strategies for each product, market and audience
- Work with the Marketing Director to set and monitor targets for the lead generation and customer acquisition strategy to align with company growth goals across all markets
- Campaign planning and execution – including briefing and reviewing creatives and editorial pieces, working across print, digital and both online and offline events
- Work with the digital marketing team to deliver leads from our paid digital channels. Input into the strategy and agree the plan, to be implemented by the digital team, working closely on optimizations, and to identify new opportunities
- Oversee the overall content marketing strategy, managing the Content Marketing Specialist to drive creative marketing across social media, website, and other marketing collateral, as the voice of the brand
- Oversee the Marketing Coordinator and the strategy for website and marketing CRM developments, with the aim to optimize, increase conversion and improve customer experience across the website and Dynamics CRM
- Oversee the Marketing Manager (Brand, Social & Content) to manage organic content from creation to delivery connected to key topic themes and overall marketing plan
- Along with the Head of Ecommerce, responsible for the Inspired Online SEO strategy, managing the digital agency and internal resources
- Along with the Operations Manager, lead the pipeline acquisition strategy, working in a cross-function team aim to improve the customer journey through the whole acquisition pipeline, and ultimately drive new enrolments
- Work closely with the Operations/admissions team to maximise conversion of leads to enrolments through a top to bottom view of the acquisition funnel
- Assist the Director of Marketing with the PR strategy to align with content marketing and SEO
- Build brand and oversee the development and execution of brand guidelines across the whole Inspired Online organization, protecting the brand identity and ensuring all materials follow both the individual brand and Inspired group identity
- Develop relationships across the organization to showcase the ‘life’ of the school and the student voice across our marketing strategy, through content, events and student ambassadors
- Collaborate with the Director of Marketing, the Associate Head of Marketing (B2B) and other key stakeholders to share best practices, align resources and strategies across all Inspired Online Schools and sales avenues, including B2B, agents, Academy21 and international expansion
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Proven experience in Marketing
- Marketing degree and/or CIM qualified
Skills and Attributes
- Proven experience in digital marketing or ecommerce
- Experience in brand management and overseeing asset creation and design
- Experience managing external agencies (creative, PR, development, UX)
- SEO experience
Desirable:
- Experience in education or school marketing
- Copywriting skills
- Graphic design skills
