Job description
Aspinal of London are hiring for a Head of Marketing to join the business. This is an essential role across print and digital marketing, CRM, events, marketing relationships, VIP and influencers.
Brand Marketing:
- Management of brand awareness and positioning through ownership of all advertising, media buying and reporting
- Lead the strategic planning and implementation of the brands global marketing strategy and the international expansion
- Management of fiscal budgets for all channels and updating of the brand pillars and strategic goals and measures for the brand
- Ownership of sponsorship opportunities, tourism and brand partnerships, implementation of in store and external events
- Regular liaising with internal departments to ensure campaigns are completed successfully, on time and within budget (PR, Creative, Design eCommerce, Buying, Retail & Merchandising)
- Collating adhoc presentations for stakeholders
CRM & Digital Marketing:
- Management of the brands CRM strategy including email content creation, briefing creative team, planning and scheduling email in line with merchandising and business objectives.
- Oversee copy creation for all brand touchpoints including but not limited to product descriptions, stories blog posts, email, brand mailings and digital catalogues.
- Managing affiliate program, reviewing affiliate partners on regular basis to ensure partners and content being fed to partners are on brand.
- Support ecommerce team and external SEO team to ensure website is optimised for SEO and conversion.
Social Media/Content:
- Planning and implementation of all social media advertising strategy and the day-to-day management of social advertising agency.
- Planning and implementation of all organic and social media advertising (WeChat and Weibo) and the day to day management of China social advertising agency including supplying assets and copy for all posts, liaising with wholesale to confirm product and promotion calendar and support accordingly
- Research, manage and implement the brand paid influencer partnerships and collaborations alongside the PR Manager driving brand awareness, new customer acquisition and retention
- Lead the creation of regular brand and marketing campaign reporting, ensuring all campaigns have detailed overviews including all analytics, ROI and other key measurables
- Support the Head of Brand Experience with the creation of seasonal branded content (campaign and tactical assets), working closely with the internal creative teams as well as liaising with external partners (e.g. content creators, stylists, studio's re touchers etc.)
Retail/Wholesale:
- Develop and implement the brands retail strategy to drive brand awareness and sales through strategic partnerships; e.g. hotels, concierges, customer loyalty etc.
- Implement and execute a best in class seasonal tool kit/ asset pack to be shared with all stakeholders to drive both new customer acquisition and existing customer engagement with the support of the marketing coordinator
- Negotiate, plan and implement seasonal marketing activity with all wholesale, franchise and concession partners including but not limited to Harrods, Farfetch, John Lewis
- Together with the Retail Management team, help with the planning and execution of promotional events in retails stores and concessions
- Coordinate the ad hoc organisation of in store material, pos, store imagery
- Proactively brainstorm new ideas to increase footfall and engagement in retail stores, concessions and driving traffic to online
