Overview:
A global British FTSE250 financial institution with 1600+ users in over 50 locations worldwide are looking to recruit an experienced Head of IT Operations based at their central London office.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of IT Operations to join an industry leading global organisation in an extremely influential position. The role will report into the Director of IT. As the Head of IT Operations, you’ll be responsible for the EMEA region heading up Infrastructure, Networking, Operations and Service Desk.
Role & Responsibilities:
Lead a direct team of 5 with 25 IT staff thereafter to provide services to 1,600 users over 50 locations worldwide
Responsible for all aspects of Infrastructure, Networking, Operations and Service Desk across EMEA.
Liaise with counterparts in the APAC and US regions to ensure uniformity across the business.
Ensure the Infrastructure, end user experience, internal development meet the highest standards and undertake a continuous improvement strategy.
Be a key part of the company executive team, driving change through technology.
Develop and lead relationships with key internal decision makers and department heads globally in order to maintain and improve customer satisfaction.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 10 years management experience in IT Infrastructure, Networking or similar.
Proven track record in delivering IT leadership in a fast paced, high transactional environment.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to present to and influence C-suite.
The role needs the candidate to be able to appreciate strategy and think outside the box to take a broader picture view on situations.
Package:
£100k- £125k basic salary
