Role Summary
As the Head of IT, you will be working alongside other Heads of Department and reporting directly to Management Team, to ensure that the technology strategy aligns with business needs.
You will manage, develop, and enhance the technology stack to achieve a reliable, agile, and innovative structure that along with the IT team, is able to provide an excellent level of service at all levels.
Main Responsibilities
To be successful in this role, you will need to balance the day-to-day running of a busy IT department, Project Management, Technical input, and customer service. Your responsibilities will include.
- Manage a team of three direct reports to provide outstanding desktop support, cloud service management and security services.
- Developing IT roadmaps that clearly show the technology goals and strategy of the firm over an ongoing 3-year period.
- Designing, leading, and implementing IT projects to ensure technology improvements exceed expectations.
- Working with IT Team and other key personnel to continuously improve productivity and ensure a high level of IT service.
- Projecting yearly IT budgets and managing supplier relationships.
- Collaborating with the Partners of the firm to ensure key business areas are constantly monitored and improved.

Person Specification
You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT Management role, preferably coming from a technical background to ensure a good grounding in technology. The following should apply to you.
- Demonstrated experience managing a small, flexible team.
- Adaptable, conscientious, and capable of wearing multiple hats.
- Problem-solving at a strategic and technical level and need to ask “why” when looking at solutions.
- Strong Organisational skills – the ability to prioritise and follow through.
