HOURS: Full Time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites
About this opportunity
Reporting to the Director of Integrated Intelligence and Investigation (3is), the Head of Intelligence Analysis and Assessment leads the team delivering high quality intelligence reporting and conducting complex investigations. A key member of the 3is senior leadership team that delivers the class leading change and supports the Group’s MLRO in performing their SMF17 responsibilities. We need excellent partnership skills and engage widely across the Group, financial services , regulators and the public sector.
Integrated Intelligence and Investigation (3is) is a department within Economic Crime Prevention. Our purpose is to help Britain recover by being the best bank for legitimate customers and prevent criminality exploiting our services and harming our customers, our communities and the UK. To fulfil our purpose we need intelligence, efficient tools and motivated people to build a class leading capability. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role through the leadership of the Intelligence Analysis & Assessment team (formerly the Group Financial Intelligence Unit). The 3is objectives are to:
1. Grow our investigation capability - led by skilled and empowered
colleagues.
2. Focus on high-risk intelligence led casework.
3. Change our Operating Model by simplifying processes and removing
duplication.
Responsibilities

A strong understanding how to use data to inform intelligence products and being at the vanguard of future data-led initiatives.
Lead and assure complex economic crime investigations and intelligence products that impact across LBG and external organisations.
Able to make accountable decisions on high risk, high profile operational case work and information sharing proposals.
Validated skills for working with partners - with the confidence and credibility to work at a senior level across Lloyds, the financial sector, Law enforcement and Government.

Inspirational leadership of people delivering complex intelligence analysis, investigation and constructive challenge.
Effective engagement internal and externally at a senior level across the Economic Crime landscape.
Evidenced ability to build new capabilities and implement change whilst maintaining business output.
Accountable decision making in high pressure & challenging situations.
And any experience of these would be really useful
Understanding and use of relevant legislation and regulations to prevent, detect and investigate economic crime; especially information sharing.
Experience of working in the financial sector and /or within a regulated environment.
A strategic understanding of Economic Crime Threats currently impacting on the UK.
