Head of Information Technology & Digital Health
Band 8B Salary £63,530 - £68,223 per annum
Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1,201 per annum
37.5 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen with NHS Western Isles, to join us as our new Head of Information Technology and Digital Health. This is a senior position to lead on the strategic direction and operational management for the IT and digital health agenda.
We want you to bring an innovative outlook and have responsibility for the strategic portfolio across a range of information technology (IT) and digital health areas such as digital transformation, strategy & governance, IT and communications infrastructure, information management & health records and digital operations. This will include leading the planning and design of digital business processes, as well as providing expert direction and support for digital solutions that support clinical and non-clinical processes.
Significant experience in leadership and change management in a large complex organisation is essential for this post.
The successful applicant will be required to register with the PVG Scheme (Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme).This post is not eligible for relocation expenses.
