HW People is partnering with a business services provider to support the recruitment of a Head of HR (Human Resources) who will be responsible for advancing the HR function. This is a newly created role and will report to the Chief People Officer.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in delivering significant contribution to business strategy and implementing and embedding HR strategies in fast-growing organisations, with demonstrable experience in implementing and managing complex transformation and culture change initiatives and business acquisitions. As such, they will need to be qualified to Level 7 (MCIPD or FCIPD) due to the level of strategic input required for this role. Previous experience in Professional Services is highly desirable.
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Developing and implementing a detailed People Plan
- Developing and motivating a team of HR professionals
- Managing the HR budget
- Embedding people strategies and frameworks, coaching and supporting business leaders and managers to drive consistent high-performance across the company
- Developing the company’s EVP
- Continuously reviewing and embedding a comprehensive suite of fixed and variable reward programmes and benefits package
- Developing and continuously reviewing HR systems, processes and policies that establish and maintain effective people governance and controls
- Giving oversight to HR / regulatory activities and process to ensure compliance, with any risks identified and proactively addressed.
- Providing and developing HR policy guidance.
- Delivering comprehensive HR and legislative advice in a commercial and strategically focused manner, facilitating improved employee engagement, performance and retention.
- Overseeing complex employee relations casework across the full spectrum of employee issues
Our client operates a hybrid working model and have offices in Leeds, however this role will require travel to other offices in Yorkshire as the current HR team is spread across different offices.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to £80,000.00 per year
