Well known and fast growing hospitality business is looking for a Head of HR. Working alongside the senior leadership team at the Head Office in Manchester this is a excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop both your own skill set and a team.
Duties of the role will include:
- Develop and mentor the existing HR team and ensure that all team members are effectively contributing to the overall goals of the business
- Advise employees across the business in all areas of HR, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
- Overall responsibility for all aspects of HR
- Work closely with the Head of Talent to ensure strategies are aligned
- Oversee the L&D department
- Develop and ensure HR strategies are aligned to the business needs
- Develop and maintain HR policies and processes ensuring consistency across the business
- Develop good relationships with employees at all levels of the business
- Maintain an up to date working knowledge of employment law and HR related practice
- Pro actively manage employee relations
- Manage the compensation and benefits programs, including salary administration, benefits administration, and payroll
- Manage the employee engagement programme, including conducting employee surveys and developing action plans to improve engagement and retention
- Oversee the HRIS system and ensure that it accurately reflects all employee data.
- Ensure that the business is compliant with employment laws and regulations, managing any complex ER Disputes and tribunals
- Review and sign off monthly payroll
The right candidate will be;
- CIPD qualified
- Extensive experience and knowledge of HR, including working at a strategic level
- Experience in multi-site
- Flexible to meet the varying needs of the business
- Experience of building structure, processes and teams
- Experience in Fourth Hospitality and CPL systems advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- In depth knowledge of current employment law / HR best practice
- Ability to manage workload of yourself and your team and to prioritise effectively
