Job Title: Head of Finance & Accounting
Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme
Job Overview:
Manages process area "manage actuals", finance ERP, statutory financial statements, group reporting and related reporting processes on country level as well as legal entity and site planning and controlling.
Your Tasks/ Responsibilities:
- Manage process area "manage actuals" for the site
- Manage finance ERP platform related activities, system settings and structures for the site
- Manage statutory financial statements, the audit thereof and related processes
- Manage group reporting and financial audits for the site
- Manage governance & standards for area of responsibility
- Responsible for Subsidiary Management function on the site
- Responsible for insurance management for the site
- Release procedural or work instructions for the site
- Ensure compliance with global and country standards regarding external and internal rules and regulations, segregation of duties, internal controls and key controls
- Ensure punctuality and quality of external and defined internal reporting for site
- Responsibility for organisational efficiency of the site
- Implement and localise new technologies and best practices for the site
- Manage completion of legal entity, site planning and controlling for PAT, balance sheet and cash flow, as well as statutory planning based on management planning / forecasting as provided by controlling
- Manage adjustments of management planning in line with requirements of legal entity / site e.g. stand-alone business plans, IC services, transfer pricing and licence adjustments, etc.
Your Profile:
- A recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
- 5 years minimum, of proven experience within a similar role
- Excellent IT / MS Office Skills
- Strong communication Skills
- Target driven and result orientated
- Motivated and resilient
- Strong organisation skills
- Ability to deal with conflict
- Ability to work on own-initiative, as well as within a team
- Flexibility to travel within the UK and overseas when required
