Reporting to the Chief People Officer, we are looking for a solution-focussed individual with significant experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating effective diversity and inclusion strategies who will join our Human Resources Leadership Team in the newly created role of Head of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion.


You will provide dynamic EDI leadership and strategic direction across the University, working closely with our University Executive Board. You will manage and lead the EDI team, empowering and enabling colleagues to succeed in their roles whilst building strong EDI networks and stakeholder relationships across the University, and externally. You will understand the internal and external EDI landscape in the UK, embedding EDI into all that we do, anticipating any challenges and ensuring the University takes a proactive approach to EDI strategy and implementation.


To succeed in this role you will have broad up-to-date knowledge and understanding of EDI issues, substantial knowledge of current legislation and good practice, and an understanding of EDI assessment tools.
