Job description
ABOUT ZENOBE
Our goal is to make clean power accessible, to accelerate the shift to zero carbon power and transport.
We’re transforming grids to enable the take up of more renewables, electrifying fleets for cleaner air, repurposing electric vehicle batteries for clean portable power and using proprietary software and data analysis to optimise operational performance for our customers.
We have 425 MW of operational and under construction grid scale battery capacity and over 30% of the UK’s EV buses, and are expanding our operations in Australia, New Zealand, US and Europe. We’re a rapidly growing company looking for talented people to join us.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking to recruit a commercially and technically astute engineering professional with experience in the battery storage market to support the growth the Network & Infrastructure businesses. The candidate will bring a good understanding of grid requirements, electrical and civils knowledge with infrastructure projects, and battery storage applications in particular for stability services such as short circuit levels, inertia, reactive power and black-start, have a proven experience of working with relevant customers and key inverter OEMs, and have the capability and credibility to design and engineer projects. The candidate will be able to manage the day to day aspects of the detailed engineering design and plant specifications as well as commissioning of such solutions. The role integrates with team members in procurement, project, engineering, controls, and construction to put together complex, optimized plant design, and techno-economic analysis.
