Job description
This Head of Engineering role is with a company who are well-established but need someone to come in and give some further technical direction as they look to improve the way they use data.
The engineering team is made up of 20 developers currently and are split into agile squads. There's a DevOps team, a front end team, and a back end team as well as 5 Tech Leads. The Head of Engineering will work closely with the Head of Product and Head of Data & Insights whilst reporting into the CTO.
Some responsibilities that the Head of Engineering will have are:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and peers to drive and maintain focus
- Create a culture of willing problem solvers
- Regular meetings to motivate tech leads and developers
- Help with architectural decisions
The successful Head of Engineering will be rewarded with up to £140,000 salary, 4% pension, remote/flexible working options, and 20% annual bonus.
