Head of Data & Analytics
We have an excellent opportunity for a Head of Data & Analytics within our the Isle of Man office. The job holder will be responsible for leading an organisation's data and analytics strategy, developing data-driven solutions to business problems, and driving innovation and growth through data-driven decision-making. A critical role in driving business growth and innovation through data-driven decision making and in ensuring that the organization's data and analytics capabilities are aligned with its strategic objectives.

Role Specific Details
- Data Strategy: Develop and implement a data strategy that aligns with the organization's business goals and objectives. This includes identifying data sources, setting data standards, and ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Analytics: Oversee the development of advanced analytics capabilities and ensure that data insights are translated into actionable business recommendations.
- Data Governance: Establish and maintain data governance policies and procedures, including data privacy and security policies, to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Data Infrastructure: Oversee the development and implementation of data infrastructure, including data warehousing, data management, and data visualization tools.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of data analysts, data scientists, and other data professionals, ensuring they have the necessary skills, tools, and resources to succeed.
- Partnership: Build relationships with business leaders and stakeholders to understand their needs and develop data-driven solutions to meet their objectives. Work closely with departmental, change and technology teams to ensure BAU and project activities are aligned.
- Innovation: Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in data and develop innovative approaches to data-driven decision-making.
- Communication: Communicate data insights and recommendations to executive leadership and other stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner
- Data Architecture. Define and own enterprise data architecture.
- Systems. Ensure the data strategy aligns with and supports the migration to a new core banking platform.
- Roadmap. Lead developing rolling three-year plans for the Data & Analytics function considering the business drivers and technology advancement implications (including prioritisation, funding approval and benefits realisation)
- People Development. Build a high-performance, learning culture by managing the recruitment, development, training and performance management of staff. Create a supportive learning environment by providing opportunities for growth, motivating, coaching and individual development.
Technical Skills and Experience
- 10+ years’ experience of leading Data, Technology or Change functions within a Financial Services or Professional Services environment.
- Transformation, Analytic and Data leadership experience (including data modelling, data flows, data cleansing, data enrichment, security, privacy, governance and quality management)
- Proficiency and experience in Agile delivery approaches and methodologies
- Ability to demonstrate a strong track record of success during challenging assignments.
- Ability to establish and maintain high levels of customer trust and confidence.
- Knowledge of banking and investment environments.
- Experience of data governance and best practice.
