Head Of Content & Community
OPPORTUNITY
Join a global mobile-first Health & Fitness business with more than 120 million users
Support transition of our business from Web2 to Web3 to become the largest on-ramp in crypto history
Engage and energise the existing Health & Fitness community already holding our native “token” to join Web3 through education, rewards mechanics and gamification
Drive up active usage of our mobile Web3 wallet application to become the crypto super-app
Make history by creating a new tokenised asset class backed by the value of human physical activity
Lead a growing Content & Community team of both internal and external staff
Complete ownership of our social channels including launching our brand onto new platforms such as TikTok
Define our casual brand voice for short-form communications on Twitter and other social channels
BUSINESS BACKGROUND
We are a mission-focused profitable B2C business with more than 120 million registered users in more than 170 countries which has just launched our web3 proposition and became a unicorn. Despite starting as a centralised, inflationary, “walled garden” proposition our Web2 Health & Fitness product already changes people’s day-to-day lives for the better by making them 20% more physically active and facilitated $60M of value exchanged in the last quarter alone. With our web3 launch, we immediately became the largest on-ramp in crypto history with 3 million active wallets and more than 13 million token holders.

We are looking for a leader who can effectively manage and coach people, think and plan strategically to set a vision, while also being able to execute on that plan along with the team in a very dynamic and cross-functional environment. You should have a passion for decentralisation, empowering communities through tokenisation, and you should be fun and easy to work with.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic management: Planning, forecasting, budgeting and reporting for/ on the success of the Content & Community function according to the business’s north-star metrics
Team Management: Responsible for the day-to-day management of a Community Manager - managing daily workload and output, performance appraisals and scaling the team according to the growth requirements of the business
Be the ‘voice’ and feedback of the end user internally to management, product and technical teams. Partner with the Marketing Director to build user profiles and personas to inform strategy
- Workstreams to include, but not limited to:
Community Building: Oversee community-building programs and direct report(s) to expand our community and grow into new geographies
Messaging: Continuously build and improve messaging through community feedback and market research
Social Media Strategy: Lead social media strategy and execution across all channels
Content Creation: Communicate the narrative and value of our token to our community via planning, writing and editing educational content (written, image and video)
Any additional creative Content & Community initiatives that build brand awareness and aid the acquisition of both customers and partners
Desirable
Leadership: Be a leader who can effectively manage and coach people, think and plan strategically to set a vision, while also being able to execute on that plan along with the team in a very dynamic and cross-functional environment.
Product Marketing: Work cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to effectively communicate our community’s needs to inform new services, features and campaigns, improving our product experience.
KOL: Comfortable with public speaking and communicating our values, mission and vision at Community events and conferences
Content Creator: Experience creating content for your personal brand e.g. TikToks, and a comfort with aligning your personal brand with ours i.e. being the ‘face’ of our brand to our community
Writing: Have a portfolio of published editorial such as blogs, articles and opinion pieces
Graphic Design: Experience with graphic design, especially marketing assets
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of marketing experience ideally including a high profile Web3 consumer project with its own token
Good knowledge of the crypto/ web 3 environment, latest technological developments, key players, protocols and best practices in web 3 marketing
Must be a self-starter, creative thinker, and quick learner that requires very little oversight
Must be a pleasure to work with, flexible, and easy-going
Self-motivated and capable of setting goals and seeing projects through to completion
You have launched or driven successful projects, initiatives, and have experience within ambassador programs
Thrives in fast-paced environments and can adapt quickly to shifting priorities
You have strong personal organisation and project management abilities
Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, build rapport, tell stories, and relate to others in both written and verbal forms
Native or Fluent English
Understanding of blockchain and cryptocurrency industry
You want to change people’s lives for the better and break traditional norms

- Remote-friendly & Flexible working hours. The flexibility is incredible, performance is based on output, rather than hours spent working, our core hours are (10:00-16:00 GMT)
- Winter office in Lisbon. We spend up to 2 months in the sunniest city of Europe during winter with the coverage of accommodation, flights, visas and insurance for you and your partner/family.
- 20 days holiday (excluding public holiday) + Week off at Christmas
- 1 extra day off, for each year of service (up to 5)
- Two office locations, London and Lisbon, in case you'd like to work from the office sometime
