Head of Brand & Communications
Located in the heart of Mayfair, The Arts Club is one of London’s oldest private members’ clubs – celebrating its’ 160 anniversary this year – and home to a community of members with a passion for the creative arts, literature, and business. From distinguished art exhibitions to fine dining, live music, and an exceptional programme of events for members, the club remains at the heart of contemporary cultural life in London.
We are currently looking for a Senior Brand, PR & Events expert supporting a busy team who curate and activate how The Arts Club shows up to our audiences through the lens of marketing, communications, storytelling, events, and cultural programming.
Successful applicants will become part of a fun, dynamic team who work closely with the operations teams who bring The Arts Club to life on the daily basis.
About the role:
As Head of Brand & Communications you will play an integral role in telling The Arts Club story across multiple audiences externally and internally and via numerous platforms. This is a newly formed role in the Brand Communications department where you will work closely with internal teams including Private Events Manager, Member Events, marketing, PR & communications and collaborate with art, music and operations

We sometimes sit at desks, but our creative spirit mean we are constantly seeking fresh ways to craft and create unique stories and build our community.
In a nutshell:
- Working closely with The Arts Club Marketing Executive to market all aspects of the club, both internally and externally
- Storytelling – executing the brand and comms strategy through narrative
- Responsible for implementing the club’s brand comms strategy; this includes image creation, content creation and copywriting across all channels, maintaining the club’s tone of voice is imperative, as well as tailoring content for a luxury audience
- Identify new ways of utilising social media / comms platforms to market the club to audiences for maximum impact
- Day to day management of the club’s website, Instagram, podcasts. Ability to work within the CMS to ensure all content is up-to-date
- Creation of regular media releases, email campaigns, which includes everything from procuring images and copywriting, to building and testing all campaigns
- Manage all aspects of branding, liaising and briefing external designers and agencies as required
- Responsible for organising and managing photo shoots, videography and production for socials, digital and printed marketing collateral
- Working alongside external designers to conceptualise and produce marketing materials for distribution in the club and among members
- Work with head of departments (HODs) to develop marketing strategies for the different areas of business such as operations
- Management of brand communications budget
- Research competition; market awareness; keep ahead of digital developments so we are ‘ahead of the curve’
- Attend the weekly cross team meetings to provide marketing support and insights
- Manage relationships with external PR agencies and manage internal requests
- Track/maintain/organise our digital library of image/audio/video/logos etc.
- Liaise with international team to ensure brand identity is consistent across both London and Dubai clubs
- Attend key events within the club’s programme and produce social media content as required
- Partnership and event strategy and execution
About you:
- Storyteller with outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Event management and partnership experience – ability to collaborate across internal and external teams
- Excellent media relations, understands layered thinking and how to ‘sell the story’- written and verbal
- Problem solver with issues management experience
- Always gets the job done!
- Commercial and creative – we need both!
- Tenacious team player who is an avid learner, adaptable and has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Deep experience and a ‘black book’ in the luxury lifestyle, travel, brand space
- You have 8+ years of experience in a similar role – mix of agency and in-house experience preferred. Associate Director level at an agency.
- You excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are heart lead
