Due to a period of sustained growth and a consistently high level of quality the College has created a new role of Head of Apprenticeships – Engineering to lead this strategically important piece of the College curriculum.
The post-holder will be accountable for the delivery of three key performance measures of Engineering apprenticeships which will help contribute to the college’s strategic aspirations of being outstanding and financially secure. The performance measures focus on the delivery of: consistently good and better teaching, learning and assessment practice; outstanding academic performance; and a stated and agreed financial contribution. This is a matrix management role and, as such, the post-holder will work closely with the Heads of School from the respective Engineering departments to achieve these performance measures. The post-holder is expected to achieve these whilst embracing the College’s RESPECT values, upholding the College standards associated with good-housekeeping (5S) and health & safety, and adopting a collegiate approach at all times.
We particularly welcome female applicants and those from an ethnic minority, as they are under-represented at the College at this level.
Closing date for applications is 09:00 22 June 2023 with a provisional interview date of 28 June 2023.
