Sitting within the Professional Services Hub, the accounts payable department is part of a centralised service provided to whole institution including invoice processing and payment, new supplier set-up, account reconciliation, supplier queries and assessing tax status of self-employed contractors.
About the role
The post holder will be responsible to the Director Financial Services, responsible for the end to end Purchase to Pay process, with the overall goal of delivering P2P services while ensuring quality and cost effectiveness. Strategic approach for new process improvements. Design, develop and implement new P2P improvements and collaborate with UCL stakeholders to improve P2P performance. Overall managerial responsibility for the Accounts Payable area including performance & objectives.
About you
The successful candidate will be hyper customer service focused having gained experience within a similar role in a high volume Shared Service environment. They will have utilised Oracle Financial Applications and Microsoft Teams to a good working standard. A detailed and energy focused approach is also key to success within this role.
