About the Position:
This is a leadership role to oversee Admissions activity within QA Higher Education for International and Home applicants. It is a unique and exciting opportunity to take QA Higher Education’s already successful admissions function to a higher level, working across all university partnerships and across Home and International Recruitment Channels.
It requires an individual with the drive and passion to deliver an outstanding application journey to satisfy our hungry recruitment channels – incorporating internal recruitment functions, agents and partners as key stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of the Admissions process seeking to improve quality and maintain compliance at all times. This includes maintaining close relationships and overseeing the smooth running of any relationships with partner admissions teams.
  • Constantly improve admissions turnaround times and offer rates to facilitate and improve recruitment opportunities.
  • Ensure our admissions practices and processes are compliant and in line with any stakeholder guidance at all times (including QAA, HEFCE, BC, BAC and UKVI).
  • Ensure QAHE’s admissions and recruitment teams are trained and up to date on the latest admissions standards and criteria across partnerships.
  • Work closely with the Director of Recruitment and International Recruitment to ensure clear and manageable student application journeys for students and partners at all times.

About You:
  • A minimum of 8 years experience in admissions role
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in managing admissions staff
  • A detailed understanding of university admissions for home and international applicants
  • Knowledge of UKVI and QAA Compliance Quality standards Essential
  • Understanding of the Higher Education industry and regulatory bodies (CMA, QAA, BC etc) would be advantageous
  • A detailed understanding of recruitment to all QA Higher Education university partners is considered strongly advantageous.
