We are currently recruiting for a Head Chef, to join us for the next exciting chapter of Hand Picked Hotels as we launch an exciting new restaurant concept. This role comes with structured career progression towards a multi-site Executive Head Chef role, as we anticipate further restaurant openings to follow within Hand Picked Hotel’s portfolio in mainland UK.
Hand Picked Hotels is one of the best luxury Hotel groups in the UK and Channel Islands, and we are looking for a Head Chef to launch and develop our new restaurant, based at St Pierre Park Resort & Spa on the beautiful Island of Guernsey. This is a brand new restaurant opening, which will sit separately from the Hotel’s main offering and will offer an all day, high end Italian dining concept with the roots firmly planted in the heart of Tuscany.
The Head Chef required for this role, must have experience in leading a new opening, developing concepts and have extensive experience in creating high end, 100% fresh Italian food as well as the commercial acumen to deliver consistent financial results
About you:
- It is essential you excellent culinary and technical skills of a rosette standard.
- You are able to work in a fast paced environment with precision and attention to detail.
- Have previous experience of creating menus and concepts of a very high standard at a Head Chef level or above.
- Be an excellent communicator and leader who can coach and inspire others.
- Previous opening experience and high end Italian cuisine experience would be advantageous for this role.
