Job description
The Berkshire Golf Club wish to recruit a Head Chef to raise the standard of their culinary offering. The Head Chef will play a key role in helping the Club formulate the new Food & Beverage offering as part of the strategic vision to provide the best heathland golf experience.
Principle purpose of position:
* To manage the delivery of a formal and casual catering service to the Club within the framework of regular business and the Club's Strategy document.
* To have a passion for food, being an expert in its preparation and develop the knowledge of culinary techniques within the Kitchen Brigade.
* To be regularly visible front of house.
* To manage, motivate and train the kitchen staff in order to improve their kitchen management skills, to give maximum member and visitor satisfaction. Establish service priorities, lead and manage staff, ensure service requirements are met in full.
The Berkshire Golf Club is set in 376 acres of heathland within the Berkshire / Surrey heath belt. It forms part of the Royal Windsor Great Park Estate, itself part of the Crown Estate. The Club is famous for being the custodian of two 18 hole very highly rated Championship courses designed by Herbert Fowler which were opened in 1928. Both courses consistently rank in the Top 100 in the United Kingdom. The Club also hosts annually two leading amateur events, The Berkshire Trophy and Astor Salver.

Salary: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
