Job description
We are recruiting a Head Chef for Muino, Bristol's top rated tapas restuarant. We are a 28 cover restaurant just off Whiteladies Rd.
Our kitchen team comprises 3 full time chefs & 2 kps. Each chef works a 4 day week with every Sunday off.
The person we are looking for will:
- be able to take on our existing menu and add dishes seasonally. There are 3/4 dishes that we always have on the menu but the other 8 or so (and 2 desserts) we change fairly regularly. Our style of food is Mediterranenan with a touch of North African & Middle Eastern.
-Take responsibility for the cleanliness and safety of the kitchen, ensuring all paperwork & labelling is of a high standard.
-Lead from the front. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic who sets the tone for the other kitchen staff.
Currently our menu is running at a 75% gp and it is important the we continue to produce good gp food.
What we are offering:
A salary of up to 41 with a further 5/6k in service charge (10% is added to every bill)
A four day working week with every Sunday and 2 other days each week off.
2 weeks off every Christmas. We close the restaurant for 2 weeks over Christmas every year.
