Night Support worker- male candidate
We are looking for a male support worker for our home supporting 6 people with Autism, Learning disability and ABI. We are looking to recruit additional support workers to join our growing team of support workers. Enabling the people we support to achieve their aspirations.

You will be given full training in your role and Carer development including enrolment in NVQ and other accredited courses
At this time we cannot offer sponsorship, we are looking for locally based applicants
Salary and Benefits:
- £10.42-£10.92 per hour, depending on the experience

Key Responsibilities as Care Assistant
- To provide support and guidance for our residents according to their care plans/support plans in enabling them to maintain as much independence as practicable.
- To promote Privacy and Dignity at all times whilst in the employment of CHC.
- To ensure that you contribute, to the best of your ability, to the efficient running of the home and the creation of an atmosphere conducive to the best interests of the residents.
- Provide care and support in a safe environment to all residents and their significant others within the Home under the supervision of the qualified nurse and senior carers.
- Ensure Residents are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing.
- Ensure the resident’s room is kept tidy. This includes the wardrobes making sure clothes are rotated regularly.
- Ensuring the residents nutritional and fluid needs are met daily and documented daily
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support
- Ensure that residents’ personal hygiene requirements are met
- Responsible along with other qualified staff for formulating, updating care plans.
- To work with Line manager to ensure that the standards of care within the Home always meet the current registration requirements as set in Law.
- To be aware of the responsibility the Home complies with all Health and Safety legislation, Food Safety legislation, and Manual Handling legislation.
Requirements of Care Assistant Role:

- Previous experience in Care is mandatory
