GB SRS Brundavan is a Hindu faith-based religious organisation and registered charity in the UK and operates a Temple (prayer centre) in Slough, Berkshire.
Job title: Hasthodaka Archak (Temple worker)
Hasthodaka Archak (Temple worker) is required to perform the following duties under the guidance of a knowledgeable, senior personnel in the organisation.
To prepare Hasthodaka (neivedhyam/offerings) to offer to the deities during daily rituals as per Madhwa tradition
Arrange variety of neivedyam items (Maha Neivedyam, Ramaa Neivedyam and Hasthodaka) required for daily rituals as per Madhwa tradition
Prepare offerings during festivals and special occasions as prescribed for Madhwa tradition
Maintain sanctity and cleanliness in the hasthodaka preparation area
Highly desirable: Ability to perform basic daily rituals to the deities in the prayer centre on an adhoc basis adhering to Madhwa Philosophy
