Description
As a team member you have the incredible responsibility of ensuring prototypes make it safely into engineers’ hands. You will help to handle secure shipments, update our global tracking database, distribute prototypes to partners, and collect old hardware for reuse and destruction. Additionally, you will help refine and improve processes, keep our stockroom and library organized, and track the location of thousands of items. Beyond that, you may follow up with cross-functional partners to escalate and resolve key issues, be assigned short-term or ongoing projects to improve the services we provide to the engineering community, or be asked to work collaboratively with your teammates to audit and enforce security policy. You will feel energized through interacting with next generation products and providing high level customer service to our engineer community. Day to day you will collaborate with global team members with diverse cultures and backgrounds. Finally, when a new product is publicly announced you will celebrate the success along with the project team knowing your hard work allowed us to surprise and delight our customers. The role is based in Central London but may require up to 50% attendance in offices around Greater London. The nature of this role requires the succesful applicant to be onsite 5 days a week. Monday - Friday.
Education & Experience
Additional Requirements
- Able to lift and transport Apple products (up to 50lbs / 22.5kg) and push or pull loaded carts/pallets of goods.
- Familiarity with Apple’s products and basic troubleshooting preferred.
- Experience with logistics, shipping services, and customs clearance preferred.
