The Handyman/woman will be responsible for performing various odd-jobs and repairs at multiple sites arranged by the company. The ideal candidate will be good at DIY and willing to learn on the job, including basic plumbing, carpentry, flooring and painting. The majority of Housemedic Property’s work is around refurbishment, specifically installing new kitchens and bathrooms. Our Handyman/woman will help keep our workspace well maintained by doing minor jobs and cleaning up on site. Handyman/woman will be working alongside the director on most jobs, and in some cases will be given their own jobs to complete.
Responsibilities:
- Use basic tools and equipment to perform a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks at customers' homes.
- Provide customer service.
- Use basic maintenance equipment.
- Repair drywall/plaster.
- Install window shades/blinds.
- Install light fixtures.
- Paint walls.
- Apply sealants.
- Apply putty.
- Install new cabinets.
- Caulk work areas.
- Install floor tile.
- Replace carpet.
- General cleaning and waste removal

Job Types: Freelance, Zero hours contract
Salary: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
