The Salvation Army, Northampton Corps is looking to recruit a Cleaner as part of our staff & volunteer team in a busy Church/Community Programme.
Key Responsibilities: As Cleaner, your role will be to efficiently keep the building clean for the Centre users and any of the Church activities. Attention to detail and good communication skills are essential. You will be required to work to an agreed cleaning schedule in accordance with our Health & Safety procedures and COSHH requirements. This means that our ideal candidate will need to be capable of welcoming people to our building, moving furniture during cleaning activities, setting out tables for use etc.
The successful candidate(s) will have:
- Previous experience in cleaning and the proper use of cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of relevant health & safety requirements and Procedures
- Ability to work effectively, to a high standard and with minimal supervision
- Able to follow a cleaning schedule to ensure the building is cleaned on a weekly basis.
- Candidates must also be committed to the values, aims and ethos of The Salvation Army.
