We are looking for a talented guitar tutor to take over a current role that comprises of 4 full nights of work and full day on Saturdays.
We first opened our doors in October 2012 and have quickly become one of the leading providers of music tuition, rehearsal space and studio space in the North West, with numerous bands using our spaces, many recording projects and a student base currently of 400 students per week. We offer a new approach to music tuition using our unique syllabus developed in-house and allowing our students the freedom to be innovative and make use of our brand new high tech, fully equipped studio. Along with an inspiring and energetic culture we offer the opportunity for students to get involved in an array of live performances, recordings, collaborations and events.
In September 2019 we opened our next location in Doha, Qatar and are looking for committed individuals who want to join a company with international reach.
As a tutor you will offer your expertise and instil a level of creativity and originality into the students, being open to all genres of music and offering support when needed. You will be responsible for helping students in preparation for music examinations, performances, gigs and general development of their craft. Most importantly you will inspire and have a positive approach with your teaching methods.
We pride ourselves on having a diverse mix of students of all capabilities and so your ability to teach students on an individual basis is key. Most importantly the aim is to provide a fun and enjoyable experience to all students. Our tutors have an impressive CV of experience including; world tours, TV, production, songwriting, performance credits and endorsements. We are focused on sharing that experience with our students.
The ideal person will have:
- Previous teaching experience, and being comfortable in using our syllabus and materials in the delivery of lessons.
- Composition experience and the ability to support students with this
- A flexible approach to working hours
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude
- A great sense of humour
- An appreciation and love of music
The studio is located in St Helens which is easily commutable from Liverpool, Warrington, Manchester, Cheshire, Southport, Skelmersdale, Wigan, Preston and Chester.
