Company Description


Our client is an investment bank, about to move their London Campus into one purpose-built HQ at Moorgate.

This facility will host 5600 employees, offering a Food Hall style Staff Restaurant, Bistro for informal dining, a Coffee Lounge by day which becomes a licenced bar by night and an unmanned Retail outlet.

In addition, our Hospitality offer will include a raked Auditorium for 280 guests, along with networking space for 200+ and the opportunity to host plated dinners for 80 covers. Our Client Dining suite has 14 private dining rooms, 3 of which come with private terraces, a Chefs Table for 10 covers and a Terrace with BBQ & Al fresco dining. Our Conference suite has 17 meeting rooms, and we have a further 37 internal meeting room spaces throughout the building.

As the Catering & FOH Reception services partner for our client, we are delighted to have the opportunity to further grow and develop our existing team by 40%, and to introduce senior roles offering exciting career progression,

Job Description


WHAT WILL KEEP YOU BUSY

The Head of Corporate Hospitality is a leadership position responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of corporate hospitality operations within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to enhance all offerings and deliver exceptional experiences to clients, partners, and stakeholders.

  • Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate hospitality strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives. Identify opportunities to improve existing offerings and introduce new hospitality initiatives.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of hospitality professionals, including event planners, customer service staff, chefs, and other support personnel. Provide guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations to ensure the team's success.
  • Event Planning and Execution: Plan and oversee corporate events, meetings, conferences, and other hospitality-related functions.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the corporate hospitality budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient allocation of resources. Monitor expenses and identify areas for cost optimization without compromising service quality.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain high standards for corporate hospitality services, ensuring that all interactions and events meet or exceed client expectations. Continuously evaluate service quality and implement improvements as needed.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all hospitality activities comply with relevant regulations, health, and safety standards. Mitigate potential risks and implement appropriate safety measures during events and activities.
  • Brand Representation: Ensure that the corporate hospitality experiences align with the company's brand image and values, delivering a consistent and memorable experience to guests and clients.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and performance metrics to senior management, demonstrating the impact and effectiveness of corporate hospitality initiatives. Utilize data to drive decision-making and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications


WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

Food to you is not just a simple life need, food is all about who you are.

  • Successful Hospitality background in 5 star/Michelin star environment, ideally within Contract Catering
  • Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate or above
  • Excellent Management experience
  • Ability to display a real passion for food and customer service
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan ahead
  • Demonstrate analytical approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent communicator at all levels
  • Financially and commercially astute
