Job Title: Guest Communication (Remote work)

Hourly Rate: £15/hour Part time and active hours to be logged and billed.

Location: Edinburgh Based – Remote working

Reports to: Head of Operations/ Company Directors

Start Date: Asap

Hotel Around Town leveraged their time throughout the pandemic to strategically position themselves for quality growth in years to come and pivoted their business model towards self catering, multi unit properties. Having already increased their portfolio from 38 to 55 units in the first quarter of 2022, they look to hit a target of 100 units throughout Edinburgh and East Lothian. This role will support the guests during there stay in our portfolio of properties.

About the position:

Hotel Around Town is looking for a driven starter-finisher to support the business day to day operations. Candidate will have confidence and experience managing maintenance issues and be a capable communicator. It is key that the person is able to find solutions and be a proactive problem solver.

Ideal candidate will have had exposure to managing property maintenance. Must be able to fit into our existing team.

Role will vary but tasks will include;

- Efficiently communicating with the rest of the operations team.

- Updating information regarding properties on our software.

- Communicating with our guests, by phone, Whatsapp, and our software.

- Logging issues raised by guests on our software.

- Checking guests into the apartment and checking cleaning software.

Work from home Schedule:

2 posts available

Post 1: Mon 10-6pm, Wednesday 6pm-10pm & Saturday 10-4pm or 4-10pm (rotational)

Post 2 Mon 6pm -10pm & Sunday 10-4pm or 4-10pm

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Part-time hours: 10-15 per week

Salary: £15.00 per hour
