Job description
Do you want to play a critical role helping to organise and support delivery of exciting projects in Peterborough to enhance the local area?
Are you looking for a varied and challenging role that will have a positive impact on our local communities?
Peterborough is one of the UK’s fastest growing cities, and the Growth and Regeneration team at Peterborough City Council, is delivering a number of exciting and varied projects. These include - though not exhaustive as the list is so long– the Towns Fund (government funded) with six live projects focussed on improving the cultural, health and well-being and tourism opportunities, and making it a better place to work, live and visit. There is a new Station Quarter development to transform that part of the city. There is the new University welcoming students, and there are many future developments and enhancements expected for the city.
In this critical role you will be responsible for supporting the team across a broad range of activities from organising reports, providing guidance on the governance for the projects, developing briefings and keeping the team on track. Your ability to work confidently and effectively will enable the smooth running of the team, increasing the amount of positive impact you will all deliver.
