GROUP OPERATIONS MANAGER
Providence Hospitality is a modern, rapidly growing management company currently managing 12 Hotels across the UK with our Head Office being situated in Bath.
As a Group Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the management of the overall operations of the various hotels that we manage by overseeing operational activities.
About your responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate and oversee the various hotel’s operations by maintaining consistent communication with the General Managers.
- Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way, ensuring that guest experiences are maintained.
- Perform financial forecasts / objectives by preparing the annual budgets, scheduling expenditure, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
- Anticipate and track operational risks and provide strategic solutions.
- Analyse and improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
- Ensure hotels processes remain legally compliant.
- Formulate strategic and operational objectives.
- Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability.
- Achieve personal and team related goal setting KPI’s.
- Perform quality controls and monitor KPIs.
- Actively find ways to increase quality of guest & team service alike.
- Actively promote company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
- Collaborate with the General Managers and Directors to determine the short and long-term goals.
- Remain up to date regarding industry regulations and trends.
Essential skills required to do this role:
- Ability to be proactive and manage time effectively across multiple sites.
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
- Highly focused, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Be motivated and professional in appearance and presentation.
- Drive to achieve results.
- Proficient in MS Office, Excel etc.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field desired, however years of experience would be taken into consideration.
- Three or more years of proven success as Operations Manager or similar role
- Experience with budgets, wage cost control and efficiency & P&L's and forecasting is required.
