Job description
First Group are looking for Group IT Finance and Telecoms Manager in London!
Group IT Finance and Telecoms Manager will be reporting into Group Chief Information Officer. This is a key role, responsible for the Central Group budgeting process alongside First Rail Holdings, IT Contract Management including affiliate contracts for Department for Transport, Train Operating Companies and Telecoms Management.
What will you be doing?
- Manage the budget allocations across all UK divisions and liaise with Divisional and Group FDs and relevant stakeholders at Divisional and Group level.
- Analyse financial data, monitor expenditure, forecast revenue and spend, ensuring accuracy of financial information.
- Engage with Senior Key Stakeholders across divisions to support cost models for future bids within the Group Strategy.
- Conduct contract negotiations annually and periodically with key suppliers within the IT area driving renewal costs down to maximise efficiencies.
- Support procurement with IT tenders, cost analysis and comparisons as required and support the delivery of business change projects and rationalisation of services.
- Manage telecoms contracts, circa £20M and ensure mobile contract compliance is in line with Group policies and adhered to across all divisions.
What are we looking for?
- The ideal candidate will have financial, commercial and contract management experience
- Knowledge of SAP S4, SAP ECC and Microsoft Office Product Suite
- You will have a recognised accounting or Chartered qualification (ACCA)
