Role Purpose
- To act as Centre of Excellence and lead on the development and implementation of the Group Inclusion, Diversity and Belonging strategy
- To support the Group Director Employee Experience to create and deliver global cultural and behavioural change interventions that ensures we create an environment where our people can thrive and deliver our strategy and goals
- To ensure all employees and groups globally have a voice that is heard and reflected in solutions delivered
- To develop and lead implementation of the global Inclusion, Diversity and Belonging strategy
- Work with the Group Director Employee Experience to create, deliver and support cultural and behavioural change interventions in particular to support development of an inclusive culture
- Create global analytics and KPIs that will inform plans to ensure we meet our Group strategic goals and legislative requirements globally for Inclusion, Diversity and Belonging
- Provide expert advice globally including research and sharing of best practice
- Create global employee voice network groups and work with them to ensure all employees and groups have a voice in the organisation
- To create impactful cultural and behavioural solutions that will deliver a demonstrable improvement taking into account cultural context in our global markets
- Coach and develop global leadership knowledge and capability in inclusion, diversity and belonging
- Promote and create understanding across the organisation of the value of inclusion, diversity and belonging
- Assess the impact our policies, processes and working practices have on diversity and inclusion and work with Centres of Excellence globally to shape and implement change that will drive improvement
- Create positive action interventions to support under‐represented groups
- Celebrate diversity and inclusion through organised events and campaigns
- Support the Group Director Employee Experience with the co-ordination of the behavioural change Centre of Excellence, maintain the change tools library and provide guidance to projects on behavioural change
- Work with the Group Director Employee Experience, Employee Experience Adviser, Employee Engagement Adviser and HR COEs to ensure coherence across the spectrum of interactions with our people
- Functional knowledge – delivering innovative I,D&B strategies and cultural development programmes
- Business expertise – commercially savy and can flex from being pioneering to traditional as appropriate to meet business area need and priorities
- Leadership – to create inspiring vision and inclusive culture
- Customer focus – proactive stakeholder engagement and management
- Personal impact – positive and strong communicator, role model collaborator, able to influence senior stakeholders to take action
- Subject matter expert in Inclusion, Diversity and Belonging (ID&B)
- Able to create and implement global strategy
- Good knowledge of global legislation relating to ID&B
- Able to understand global, sector and function priorities and create realistic and impactful solutions that will meet the needs of all stakeholders
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, communication and influencing skills to drive cultural and behavioural change
- Understanding of culture in our different global markets
- Ability to create quality written materials e.g. reports, frameworks, toolkits, training content
- Able to use data analytics to inform strategy and policy to ensure achievement of strategic goals
- Experience of connecting a wide reaching range of activity to create a coherent approach
